In 2025, Mondo continued to do THE MOST.
He was in a music video for the talented duo Ana Tri for their song Tiny But Mighty in April.
In April, he also culminated his work with the Deaf Drag Empowerment Residency with a new performance for his Deaf community.
In May, his virtual art was featured in virtual publication for Cre8tive Cadence Storytellers.
In June, he made headway in his local disability justice work, resulting in a mask required Pride in Elk Grove, CA. He was proud to be one of two MCs at this inclusive event, and he provided high quality KN95 masks for the respiratory safety of all involved, resulting in many disabled community members feeling safe enough to attend Pride without fear of illness.
He also assisted in creating a BlackQT exclusive mixer with Love Liberated and Just Cultured Barber Studio.
In July, as part of Haus of Do, with collaboration with Love Liberated and LifeWFlo, he created a Sins of the Zodiac event, mask required with BIQTPOC exclusive speed dating, open mic, and Performances, as well as an art show.
In April, he performed as part of a virtual community, Garden, for their Dreaming Is Transcendent Festival.
In April, he also presented at the Including Disability Summit, with his presentation Well Preserved on saving and documenting the stories and work of disabled people.
In May, he returned to San Jose State to present for National Deaf History Month, with multiple other Deaf Librarians and Library Workers to speak on Deaf Representation in Literature.
In August, he was once again able to assist in making the Beach Blackout a Covid safer event for the BlackQueer Community.
He was featured in the ART + MIND Documentary and Festival with Sista Creatives Rising in September.
His chapter, “Becoming a Queer Disabled Ancestor” was published in Information, Power, and Reproductive Health in September.
By consulting for Borealis Philanthropy Disability Inclusion Fund, through the year, culminating in September, he assisted in directing thousands towards disability justice centered organizations.
In October, he supported local Ballroom organization SPICE in presenting a ballroom showcase at Coming Out Day events in Sacramento.
